Dr. Janice Loss was born in New Jersey but grew up in South Florida.

She received a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Florida in 2005. That same year she was accepted to Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine. She finished her fourth year clinical rotation at Purdue University School of Veterinary Medicine and earned her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine.

Dr. Loss has over 12 years of experience in small animal medicine and surgery. She has a special interest in feline internal medicine. She is a proud member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and achieved AAHA accreditation for Hillsboro Beach Animal Hospital.

Dr. Loss is married and has two daughters. She shares her home with a Maine Coon named Lucas, a DSH named Elsa, and two Whippets, Rylie and Taylor. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family, shopping, and anything outdoors.
